Probiotics are so important to our gut health and fermenting your foods is just one way to get them on a regular basis.
There are a plethora of websites devoted to both Kombucha as well as Water Kefir. So I am not going to repeat all of that information here.
What I wanted to share is that fermenting foods is pretty easy, fun to do, inexpensive, and best of all, good for you.
I also wanted to say that we do a kombucha and kefir share. If you are looking for kefir grains or a kombucha scoby and you can get to Woodstock (New Brunswick) then we can give you some.
If you would like to visit with us and see how we ferment our various foods, then just let us know and we can get together.
For those of you who are looking for more information on fermenting in general, then then website I'd start with is this one: www.wildfermentation.org , this is where we started from. We even have one of their books!
